Indifference is our worst enemy.
Indifference takes us nowhere; it is a dead end. From our point of view our biggest and most important mission, at all times, is to fight indifference. That mission is the reason we go to work everyday.
Generally speaking, people don’t care too much about brands. They’re busy going about their daily lives. And the problem of being a low priority, is exactly what we want to help our clients with.
If we don’t evoke feelings, nothing happens. Zipp. Zero. Nada. Therefore, we need to know exactly what we want to achieve and who we need to talk to in order to do so. We have to be careful with what we say and how we say it. We have to cut out everything irrelevant, aim and not be afraid to stick our necks out. It’s only then we can get a reaction. And even if the biggest goal for everyone, including us, is lifelong love we know that there are many other emotional states and reactions that are valuable.
Joy, respect or even hatred. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. And if we don’t help brands to create some kind of reaction then they will never claim a real space in peoples lives.
At Saatchi & Saatchi Stockholm we are about 30 people that work with some of Sweden’s largest and best-loved brands. We are a local advertising agency with global muscles in one of the worlds largest advertising agency networks. And we hate indifference.
